AGo to Menu > Settings > Security > Select ‘Phone lock’. Then it will ask for password. The default password of h/s is “00000000” (Eight zeros).

Q3 Purchased mobile from abroad and by inserting Indian SIM it shows network locked.

AGSM in Abroad used to launch in collaboration with service provider. These h/s has configuration of only one service provider and if you insert any other service provider’s SIM and it gets locked. To unlock you need to contact to that particular service provider you had purchased the h/s.

Time to time service provider upgrade their networks and systems. To
Synchronize with them, h/s software needs to upgrade.

Also during usage some system logs (unwanted) remain in h/s memory. By
Software up gradation/reload these logs can be removed.

AThe log-in system is case sensitive. Check that you are submitting the ID and Password in the correct case, especially as the initial letters are often automatically capitalised on the WAP.

Q9 How can I access the memory card inserted in my handset via my PC?？PC Studio does not seem to allow this.

AUnfortunately, it is not possible to access the memory card via PC Studio. However, if you go to Settings>Phone Settings>USB Settings and set this to Mass Storage rather than Modem, your memory card within the phone will appear as a removable device in My Computer. You can then drag and drop files directly onto the card.

Q10 How to transfer data from PC to memory card directly, inserted in phone.

A"First you need to install 'PC Studio-3' software on PC. Then you need to connect the USB cable one end to USB port of PC and other end to phone's charging port. After that you can get a pop-up wizard on PC like 'Samsung Anycall Phone XXX'. Close 'PC Studio-3' software, let USB connected to PC and phone. Then on your phone go to Menu > Settings > Phone Settings > USB Settings > Select 'Mass Storage' option. Now you can get a pop up message 'Removable Disc', on your PC. This is your memory card which is inserted in you phone. Now you can copy/paste/move data from PC to that removable disk (MEMORY CARD) and vice-versa. *Note: This facility is only for some specific phones.
